AIR Worldwide Expands Suite of Atlantic Basinwide Tropical Cyclone Models

BOSTON, July 25, 2011 – Catastrophe risk modeling firm AIR Worldwide (AIR) has released the Central America tropical cyclone model. The new model covers Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. The model captures the combined effects of wind and precipitation-induced flooding to provide a complete and scientifically robust view of Central American tropical cyclone risk.
